Articles posted to Facebook are generally links to the actual website. I don't think there's a slew of people copy pasting the entire article onto a post
You could just as easily argue the opposite. Journalists are getting free exposure on these platforms.
And if these media sites want people to read the articles on their own websites, they shouldn't have closed down the comment sections.
