I got banned (fer a day), as far as I can tell, for using the acronym for Zionist Occupation Government, which I guess sounds bad in acronym. This was not explicit, but I guess don't do that. That's all I can figure when I do that and get banned.
Yup, there was a whole thread about that, or a similar issue. Dom really didn't make a compelling point for how ZOG was banworthy, but other attacks were not.
ZOG is apparently attacking an entire identity group, but nigger or fag isn't, even though it all depends on who's reading what into it. But, hey "The issue with ZOG is what it already pre-supposes because it is an acronym," according to Dom.
I, for one, am totally convinced. It's an acronym, so pack it in, boys.
For the record, I come at this from a free speech angle, not indiscriminate Jew hatred. I just think it's a really bad argument.
Tho i can't resist saying I see that thing as akin to the "Illuminati" or masons. If you say something about freemasons, are you attacking a whole religion as conspiratorial, or are you merely pointing out that a secretive group is secretive? The term Zionist itself gives you an indication that not all jews because not all jews are Zionists. It's one of the bigger splits within that religion. To say "Zionists" represents all jews would be like saying Shiites represent all Muslims.
It's beyond stupid to claim that "ZOG" is in some special category when it comes to "attacking identity groups." But, somehow, that's the openly stated mod decision.
I even specified GAE as Gay American Empire, and was corrected to Global, and told it wasn't the same. So even if you specify a Gay conspiracy, that's fine, but a Jewish conspiracy is beyond the pale.
But, if I specifically say that that I'm referencing the Gay American Empire, is that against the rules? Stop changing what I'm saying. I'm not saying all instances of GAE are a gay identity attack, but if I specifically say what it stands for in my use at that time of posting, is that banworthy?
I don't like the Gay American Empire, I think their influence is toxic on society.

I don't really care and would settle for understanding the rules. I have never supposed this is a forum without rules.

And not all Zionists are Jews.

Zion is at the very least a conspiracy between Christians and Jews. Probably against the Muslims. The eternal, fraternal fight that that is.
I don't think the issue is religion, but rather that these people have a hatred of Jews based on race.
GAE (Global American Empire): fine. Attacking Americans in general: fine.
ZOG: verboten.
I never use either one, personally, but it still seems pretty stupid to me.
I even specified GAE as Gay American Empire, and was corrected to Global, and told it wasn't the same. So even if you specify a Gay conspiracy, that's fine, but a Jewish conspiracy is beyond the pale.
Globalists are ideologues.
Like I said, Gays are not the target of GAE. Not even "Americans" are the target in that acronym.

So are Zionists.
