What if Putin uses this as an excuse to pull at least some of the troops out of Ukraine, and save face in the process..?
Like, this would be a totally reasonable “justification” to do that, consequences on the ground be damned..?
Not saying that’s what is happening, but it’s certainly one possibility…
Given the rate at which they are dying on the ground, would certainly prevent pissing off more families, at least for a little while, if they were “pulled back” into Russian territory… 🤷🏻♂️
