Who the fuck thought putting real time action combat in a FF game was a good idea?
Probably because the Witcher 3 sold a shitzillion copies.
It plays better than that game, for what it's worth, but I still feel like a real FF game should be party based.
Given how smooth and dynamic the Witcher 3 was for me, that's pretty high praise.
...not enough for me to buy a console or whatever, but, eh. Fucking console exclusives.
Ff7 remake is both party based and rta...?
I wasn't one of those sales. ATB is about as "real-time" as I will tolerate in RPGs.
