Maybe if they and their woke brethren recognized that people need a break now and again, this wouldn’t be happening. But they chose the strategy of “you gotta be thinking about our issues all the time or you’re RACIST!” and people just got worn the fuck out. Even people who were all about the movement are now completely worn out. It’s like, you wouldn’t design a school program that kept kids in lectures every waking hour and expect them to actually learn anything, the brain needs breaks and that’s true in all endeavors. But their ideology demands that “lifetime of reflection” and constant effort that even they admit will never fully solve their alleged issues, and if you really try to follow the BLM (or other woke) program, you’ll break down. If your employer demanded you sleep under your desk and work the other 16 waking hours, even the most committed person would find another job. Even formerly very committed people are stepping away from BLM and all the other woke sub-movements that demand the same constant commitment or else you’re a bigot.
