This is what critical theory language games do to people. “Just leave kids out of it” is a perfectly sensible statement and a reasonable standard to set. Yes, some lefties are actual pedophiles but most aren’t simply because most people aren’t pedophiles. But the critical theory language game players insist that their preferred subtext exists in every statement (and also that “language is never neutral,” which pushes their right to claim there is a subtext) and in any statement insisting kids be left out of adult discussions and activism, they have convinced a lot of idiots that the subtext is “murder trans kids” or else, “he’s saying all gay people are pedophiles.”
And then the actual gay pedophiles are just laughing in the corner. Both parts of the team win. The critical theorists want to break down society in order to institute Marxist government: their intentional confusion of language breaks the world down just a little more, and the consequences against this guy make the next guy less likely to speak up. …and the pedophiles now have slightly easier access to kids, since people are less likely to speak up and normies think “just don’t touch kids” is actually a dog whistle and not a sensible statement.
