Correct, she won't be there to help. The annoying part is though, as I said, it's not like she will be able to fix this issue, and it's an issue that needs fixing. It's a bad situation, because there are no good options, and the most necessary options are almost impossible in the current climate, and make you look like the bad guys.
I don't know the answer, but I'm not sure "let the women deal with it" is a great idea. Although, who knows, maybe it could burn itself out, too.
