Very restrictive. You know the website that exists solely to check and see if your local MickeyD's ice cream machine is up? That works because every major piece of equipment in a McDonald's reports back to HQ on a regular basis.
Answer: It's never up because it's a piece of shit machine.
It's actually a pretty good machine, it's just that corporate declared that they have to be taken apart every 8 hours. By teenagers. And then sued the company that built a kit to solve all the problems that caused.

Doesn't matter how 'good' the machine is if it's constantly broken though, across the country 11.65% are busted as of right now per that mcd's shake machine tracker site.
Yep, that's the company. Those machines were designed to be torn down every three days by a manager with training. Instead, little Johnny Puffsalot does it three times a day with not even a manual for reference.
As high as 20% in NYC and SF, and the vast majority in the US are reported as "inconclusive".
