It's actually a pretty good machine, it's just that corporate declared that they have to be taken apart every 8 hours. By teenagers. And then sued the company that built a kit to solve all the problems that caused.
Isn't that the basically the of whats happened or is this a different event you're referring to?
Doesn't matter how 'good' the machine is if it's constantly broken though, across the country 11.65% are busted as of right now per that mcd's shake machine tracker site.
Yep, that's the company. Those machines were designed to be torn down every three days by a manager with training. Instead, little Johnny Puffsalot does it three times a day with not even a manual for reference.
As high as 20% in NYC and SF, and the vast majority in the US are reported as "inconclusive".
Given the context, I imagine "inconclusive" means "So thoroughly broken that it's not even able to submit error reports any more"
