Not to mention why is the woman doing those things?
Normally, the woman is specifically consuming to ease some emotional or psychological issue. First is: is she consuming propaganda that promotes insecurity or resentment? Cut that shit out right away, and don't budge on that. Feminism and Fashion mags are particularly bad at abusing women.
Second: is she consuming some product in order to satiate some internal need? I she wanting lavish vacations? Okay, are you not taking her to get more social experiences outside the house? Let's say she wants to adorn herself with beauty products. Does she feel insecure about your affection to her? Let's say she want to adorn herself with expensive things. Does she feel insecure or undervalued? Let's say she is constantly shit-testing you, or wants to bicker. Is she trying to draw a more masculine or dominant side of you out? Let's say she wants to go out, and do wild things. Is it because she doesn't feel like she's gotten enough attention from you?
I've kind of come to the conclusion that "women are literally magical creatures", in the sense that their actions are so fundamentally based on aesthetics and metaphysics, that it's not really useful to address their issues in a materialist or deterministic sense. Address the metaphysical aspect of a woman's issue first, and you might actually solve the problem. Address the material aspect, and you never will.
You'll be addressing those issues forever like a chore. It'll never be good enough. That's why men don't address them. It's like a 9yo stomping their feet saying they want ice cream, then you get them ice cream and they decide they want candy, then a movie, then more more more. It's never good enough for women. Living your life by chasing after pleasing women in the metaphysical is just as bad as trying to please them monetarily. Both are a waste of time and money.
Yes. That is the nature of a relationship. It's like saying if I buy a plant I'll have to give it water forever: yes, that's what you need to do when you have a plant.
Similarly, you have to have provide a woman material grounding for her metaphysical presence, and vise versa.
This is not about enabling. This is about actually trying to solve the root of the problem. Obviously, you tell a woman no when necessary. But you also need to understand what the metaphysical issue that is at the root of that. Is your son being annoying and needy because he's a stupid child and should be punished for being worthless, or is it because he actually wants his father's attention and affirmation, because he's insecure about something?
There are women who don't act so unreasonable and childish as the examples you're both describing.
That's fair but in my experience, it's usually the latter. You're constantly having to battle what is reasonable and what is not such that it isn't worth it. I've done that for year before and in the end she may just leave you anyway because she wants a guy that doesn't tell her no even when he ought to.
Obviously, you're going to have women you can't do anything with, but that's why you have to include women in your search whom you are able to contribute to.
If she matches any of those traits I don't want her. If you're someone who strongly believes I MUST FIND A MATE TO BIRTH MY CHILDREN AS NATURE'S GOD INTENDS then I suppose it's worth playing that game. It's wouldn't be worth it to me.
That is another way of saying illogical creatures whose actions are based in fantasy instead of reality.
I strongly believe that men and women need each other has humans. Speaking otherwise is anti-human.
Logic has severe limitations when it comes to human relationships, Mr. Spok.
