Two of my IRL friends reviewed it as "Actually felt like TNG" which was pretty high praise from them, given that TNG was their favorite Trek. I also reviewed it as "Actually felt like TNG", but that comes with the context that I'm a DS9 guy and I also rank TOS above TNG.
