Didn't GTA San Andreas do that? Like if you kept hitting the drive through you got fat as fuck and if you biked everywhere you got thinner? I don't remembered if it affected gameplay though.
The Sims did too, at least the older ones. Like if you became a fat fuck you were more likely to die early and no one would sleep with you iirc.
Fat CJ had extremely low stamina, could barely run anywhere, and couldn't ride the bike very fast.
He got tired quick and moved slow. Other than looking hilarious because he was fat, being fat was a major detriment to the gameplay, CJ's ability to date women, and to be able to fight/outrun enemies, was basically handicapped.
Right? If they want their realistic fatties then I do too. "Chase after the enemy!" OH no wait you can't, because there's some stairs in the way.
That'd be a cool RPG.
Instead of starting at a low level, you start at a high BMI.
At first you can't climb or run, your stamina depletes quickly, and it takes a quicktime event to get up again if you fall over.
As you keep doing things, your BMI drops, which unlocks new abilities, like "Ride a Bike", and "Swim" and things become easier to do.
By the end of the game your character is fit, slim, and even building muscle.
The Woke religious cultists would rage so bad about this game.

I'd like to see this in a game that plays like Goat Simulator.
