I don't know anything about this Miller ad. "Clothed women" sounds like an insidious deflection. Sounds more like there were statements demeaning the male gender (ala Gillette). But if someone can clue me in on it, it would be appreciated.
It’s feminist ranting that claims women invented beer, that beer ads with bikini clad women are sexist because men find attractive women attractive, that women drink beer too!, and that they are/ were starting a new initiative that only benefited women hop growers. It’s basically Gillette with female preaching.
They're half right anyway. Women invented American beer, kind of. Beer in the United States used to be much the same as European beer, but during the world wars the alcohol companies changed their recipes to be akin to slightly alcoholic soda to cater to women, since so much of the male consumer base was away fighting. After world war 2 it stuck.
So it would be more accurate to say that women ruined beer.
What I figured. Honestly I’m tired of the double standard. It make’s business sense to appeal to men by having attractive women, same with something that appeals to women having attractive men. Generally speaking men drink more beer than women. Then again gaming, sci-fi, comic books, etc generally appeal to men but apparently that doesn’t matter

Thanks to the 19th amendment and certain forces pushing feminism, women have managed to ruin a lot more than just beer.
