Why not? You could use the same bs they use for these insane race swaps or period pieces where high society in England is very diverse
Oh yea. I heard that argument about the little mermaid when I said what about the white panther.
And their excuse fluctuates. I’ve been told thatI’m triggered by race or gender swaps and I said not all all, they are just lazy and if you want someone to recognize your creativity then make your own story instead of bastardizing the works of great authors.
Imagine how big Wheel of Time would be if it was made 10 to 15 years ago, or think of how bad Game of Thrones would be if it came out today
