The product, GSK’s Arexvy, was approved for adults ages 60 and older.
A vaccine to protect infants in their first six months of life — the age group at highest risk of being hospitalized with RSV — is expected to gain FDA approval later this year. Developed by Pfizer, it is designed to be given to pregnant people to generate antibodies that protect both the pregnant person and their newborn. Also up for approval soon is an antibody treatment, to be marketed in the U.S. by Sanofi, that would be given as an injection after birth or near the start of RSV season to protect in the first year of life.

Check out the stories of the boys who died and have lifelong injuries from the gardasil vaccine (it was never tested vs a placebo. It was only tested vs aluminum. So the drug manufacturer was allowed to attribute any injuries to the aluminum…)
Yes, getting the go ahead from a regulatory agency who subsist on money directly from you for half their entire budget, who help you root out and eliminate whistleblowers, is quite the 'scientific achievement'. I guess it's fair to say there is a kind of science to regulatory capture.
The safety issue was key. The work to develop effective RSV vaccines has been haunted by a clinical failure in the 1960s, when children who received an experimental vaccine in a trial experienced more severe disease than the children in the placebo arm. Two children, both under the age of 2, died.
Yes, they've fixed the problems with those kind of results emerging now. Just not in the way you think!
The FDA and Pfizer, two groups I will never trust again in my lifetime.
Where have we seen this before?
Jesus Christ 😒🤦🏼
To be fair, I would be 100% ok with making this vaccine mandatory for pregnant men and pregnant non-women.
We learned during covid that the FDA works with big pharma to fake tests and I recently discovered they have been doing this for ages.
