Hopefully an autopsy will find drugs in the system or other complications which will loosen the potential for punishment

Given the amount of drugs found in Floyd's system that they just ignored, and that the coroner here has already called this a homicide, I have no idea where your optimism comes from but I think it's gravely missplaced.

The system has no care for truth or impartial justice anymore, especially not once political powers/the media get involved.
