It's a good article - tldr: the left needs a "repressed" group to champion but they've run out of groups to do it with.
Like any article it's missing a few points but, no one reads 10 page essays on every possible angle anyways.
I think this may be mainly the problem for democratic politicians. They'd prefer to pivot to some new topic but they've run out of stuff to pivot to so they just keep rehashing over and over and over again.
