Janet Protasiewicz 55.6%
Daniel Kelly 44.4%
Democrats now have full control of the Wisconsin election apparatus AND now the state supreme court.
Protasiewicz has been candid during her campaign for Supreme Court about her philosophy and values on issues such as abortion, gerrymandering, LGBTQ rights, and environmental protections.[2] She supports abortion rights and opposes the state's Republican-drawn legislative maps.
This creature is now the swing & deciding vote for all Wisconsin legal disputes.
Wisconsin is a "MUST WIN" state for Trump. There is now absolutely no chance of him winning the state. If you believe the election was stolen in 2020, then you have no choice but to accept it will be stolen by a much wider margin in 2024.
Trump has no path to victory on the electoral map anymore.
On top of losing Wisconsin tonight, the fact that full control of Arizona switched to the Democrats in the recent 2022 election also means that if you believe the election was stolen in Arizona in 2020, then you have no choice but to accept it will be stolen by a much wider margin in 2024.
Making people vote in person reduces fraud and ensures that voting is anonymous. It also has the added benefit of screening out lazy people who wouldn't bother to vote, who happen to be mostly democrat.
Let me give you an example.
I know my girlfriend is going to vote straight ticket republican for the rest of her life.
You know how I know?
because I'm going to fill out her ballot identical to mine. She will sign it, of course.
But if we went to vote together she could lie to me and say she was voting right wing then anonymously in the booth pick all libtards and I'd never know.
Now expand this to whole families & social circles who all insist on voting out in the open non-anonymously so that the people with power in the family or group ensure that everyone else is voting for the "correct" person.
Expand it to old folks homes & gender clinics & all sorts of other shit like homeless shelters were you can buy a vote for a cigarette.
See how this works?
It tends to give a big liberal advantage because they are more coercive and more highly radicalized to exert this kind of pressure on others. In the longer term once the Right starts doing it, too, it's going to end up like an arms race where everyone is exploiting their social and economic power to coerce their "friends" and dependents to vote according to their dictation.
That’s depressing because I’m sure that happens a lot in blue areas
