Low quality digital security cams will blur details and colours together, doubly so especially on moving images because of compression artifacts. White above and below a pale yellow can easily blend into it, you can even see that it's more of a creamy yellow in the middle of you zoom in. Likewise red and black will blend into an off-black if the detail size is below the cameras resolution. If you combed through the entire footage it would be pretty easy to find a frame where they look quite different.

You can also clearly see the white laces in both pics, sure you can switch laces, but Occam's Razor is looming large at this point.

Nope. Laces wrong colour, the thin white ring above the white sole is missing, and the white flair thing on the side is too far to the front of the shoe. It's just a shitty camera being shitty.
