I stopped watching Dr Who with Capaldi’s second season. I have the female doctor a chance until the Rosa parks episode. I heard they totally ruined the lore. And what you say about Star Trek doesn’t surprise me. It seems they love to take a legacy character and have them learn everything they need from a female. Like it wouldn’t surprise me if Disney makes a Star Wars show about the beginning of the Jedi and women of color being the originators of the force for reasons
