And it was done well I thought. Also it wasn’t so far in the future that you couldn’t have some guest spots especially with Spock since Vulcans live longer. I thought it was dumb having that one lady be the foster sister of Spock. In the days of TNG I don’t think we had the same reboot/remake fatigue either.
