Wtf I thought the OP was just talking shit when he mentioned literally washing chicken with soap and such. Who raised these morons?

My grandma was born right after the great depression and grew up on a farm. She'd rinse chicken with hot water and I assume that habit came from them killing fresh chicken. What possible reason could there be for using bleach
