The report describes incel culture as a "misogynistic ideology" in which men blame women for their lack of intimate relationships and resort to verbal, physical, or sexual assault.
As expected they've completely twisted the term to go after a bunch of virgin guys who think they're too ugly to get laid, this attitude is going to spread hardcore and they are going to go out of their way.
For those wondering what the fuck I'm on about, I called this out awhile back that incels would be one of the first types of single men to get the boot. I think though as they start having to reach private quotas among other things they're going to drastically expand their surveillance online and off and just start criminalising any single male loner type character that doesn't have a girlfriend.
Criminalising inceldom and single men is going to be the new far right terrorism in the EU countries generally, I'm finding it very interesting that the SNP are still pushing this.
And of course, they'll be able to provide a narrative of "See, we were right about those angry incels" when they actually do push them to the point of becoming an extremist group with campaigns like this.
If you notice from the reporting, it also mentions the manosphere. Many of who will not identify as incels and will even oppose and insult them. The ultimate goal of such a move like this is exactly what you stated - to criminalise single men and bachelorhood as a lifestyle choice. We know that the term incel has been extrapolated to include all single men without partners and the SNP is planning to introduce a law to criminalise misogyny. It is likely the criminalisation of bachelorhood will be in that law once they've Humza Yousaf is picked as the preferred candidate and the bill becomes law. There are also calls to not merely age-restrict pornography but outright ban it as well as bring in a law to specifically criminalise any sexual excitement and gratification outside of consensual acts between at least two people in public and private places to protect women from dangerous lone men. Guess what that bans?
The rest of the UK will follow and other countries, particularly in the EU and North America, will watch with interest.
In the last week, I have seen a much greater assault on the manosphere and it isn't just coming from the usual suspects on the left. They went for the Lotuseaters podcast as well for engaging in 'manosphere talking points' despite the fact that the podcast is not within the community. They claim that the manosphere is in complete contradiction with established evolutionary psychology, biology and other scientific disciplines and that it is both internally damaging teenage boys and adult men as well as radicalising them into extremism. They use Tate as their main example but other creators like JustPearlyThings, Sneako and Fresh n' Fit are also named amongst others. Some content creators have felt the change of wind recently and are now calling out the manosphere too in the hope they won't get the boot.
Oooooooo! I fucking called this!

Women run the party.
Specifically JK Rowling allies.
You and trannies need to just shut the fuck up about Rowling.
Nobody cares.
She's a piece of shit and has been long before she tried to play both sides by being anti-trans.
I'll shut up about Rowling when people here shut up about irrelevancies like women's spaces being "invaded".
