Restore the original sentencing for violent felonies. Much easier.

You mean the death penalty? That was a possible sentence for all felonies when the country was founded. Granted, there were only a half-dozen or so felonies back then...

Yes, but I’d apply it solely to violent felonies. Would save time in the long run.
