If there was a just court system in America, EVERY person imprisoned under Jan 6 would be immediately released due to prosecution withholding evidence.
If Bill Cosby can get all his crimes dropped thanks to less than this, it shows how much the justice system is worth that a grandma wandering around taking pictures is seen as more of a threat to society.
My lefty relatives say I need to accept Jan 6 was bad. If people broke the law then fine but like with Chansley a lot of people are charged for walking around in full view if the cops. And it still burns me up how the media frames this compared to the Floyd riots
It was. A woman was murdered by a police officer who shot into a crowd of people because she was climbing through a window, and there has been no trial or even an independent investigation.
I know but they mean from their left wing perspective. They unironically parrot the “democracy was attacked” talking point. I hope someone has the guts to open an investigation in to Babbit. Also odd how there are no cameras
They say you can't choose relatives but you can change how much you rely on their input. The relatives I know of that hated Trump and willing to believe the 'Ukraine-gate' bs have flipped after going the slow approach of showing how much of it is bullshit.
They even tried to compare it to 9/11 which shows how demented in the head they are. When another camera angle ruins your narrative, it shows how much of this castle is built on sand.
This was posted the other day but the OP deleted it for some reason, and I thought it was worth saving if for no other reason than to preserve my comment:
No, release everyone except him.
I'm not saying with 100% certainty that this professional actor and rabblerouser who has played parts on both the Proud Boy and Antifa sides is a glowie, but alarm bells were going off from the very beginning. Elon Musk getting involved isn't making him look any less suspect.
Another humorous thing about the article is the picture and caption.
Jacob Anthony Chansley, center, with other insurrectionists who supported then-President Donald Trump, are confronted by U.S. Capitol Police...
How is that not defamatory? Even if they were convicted of whatever the feds could get to stick (trespassing, sedition), I'm suspicious of any of them not suing the Washington Times over that claim. The picture itself shows other people standing around in the background peacefully touring the halls. This is an insurrection?
Oh and that's a nice looking name badge on the other guy. When you go to topple the government, don't leave home without your official press credentials!
Yeah, I remember back when it happened people posted archives and screenshots that appeared to prove that he was indeed an actor (therefore a glowie). And all this stuff related to his past was mysteriously deleted when he got famous.
All that stuff could be fake too, I'm not entirely sure what to believe at this point. But I agree this guy has looked suspicious from day one.
Now if there were any strategic motivation on the "right" there'd be another march on the capital just as before to call for the release of the last prisoners.

the very simple question that i keep repeating: who ordered the doors opened?
without that order, nothing would have happened.

You can't choose your relatives, but you can sure as hell choose your family.
