Got it recommended by a normie, so I am suspicious. Especially since it is Nickelodeon, but it is also from 2005-2008, so maybe it is not woke. Still can be shit though, which is why I am asking.

I'd just do Samurai Jack instead. Much better and still kid friendly.
Both are absolutely top tier shows. Samurai Jack has some of the best direction you will see in any animated program and is a work of art.
No need to choose between the two. Watch both.
Need to amend my comment because I should mention to skip the final season of Samurai Jack, at least for now. It came out many years later and aired on Adult Swim because it has more 'mature content' like actually bloody fights, language, and more.
Personally I didn't like the tone shift so I consider it separate from the original seasons.
That one looks like it is for older kids, if any.
It's 'action' but quite tame. I wouldn't go under 6 or 7 years old but beyond that should be acceptable for 8+.
Samurai Jack indeed has some very good episodes, as well as some really pretty animation, but overall the show is mostly just violence porn.
A very good episode I recommend all kids watch is Episode XLII: Samurai versus Samurai. That episode has some great lessons on respect, humility, and posing.
I disagree, it is an 'action' show but not violent.
Zero blood in the entire thing, usually only robots getting attacked. A lot different from Avatar and other cartoons.
There was zero blood because the censors demanded it for the target audience. blood was replaced with oil, limbs were replaced with parts, but it still very much a hack and slash fest. My main issue rewatching it as an adult was that almost every episode was an excuse to get to the fight scene. The quality and substance of the writing varied from episode to episode, but it got so predictable that I am not surprised that it got canceled.
I mean yeah it is a kids show, they have short attention spans and like seeing flashing colors and movement.
If there weren't so many fights kids wouldn't really like it, and yeah they made it censored for kids so it isn't a problem to show to pre-teens.
I mean you kind of want kids shows to be predictable, that is the audience they made it for.
