The melting pot only works if

The Left hasn't wanted a melting pot for generations if ever. The whole concept of Identity Politics is to reject the melting pot and assimilation.

Having the govt and private sector regulations rank and reward people by race and sex isn't how you fix things.

Well that's the Left's plan.
