Based. Too many catholics still cling to their fanfiction that was created to justify a massive power structure, even while they openly acknowledge the pope himself the cardinals being heretical, satanic or at least corrupt as fuck and covering up the pedophile scandals.
The entire catholic system goes against the core message of the bible.
What I don't get is that is basic history. As soon as one reads the Bible itself it's immediately obvious that NONE of their shit comes from it. There's no pope, nor bishops nor cardinal in the new testament whatsoever. The entire nature of the pope being the intermediary between men and god is contrary to what the bible states.
It's immediately and blindingly obvious as soon as you actually read and comprehend these things - so HOW is NEARLY EVERYONE who talks about these things so fucking ignorant, yet so CONVINCED of their own bullshit? It baffles my mind that people can go off like that just parroting other people's lines, telephone game style.
It's a world full of NPCs. Even in ny edgy atheist days as a child I knew this shit because I actually read the book itself.
The catholics being raised in ignorance is no surprise, but the sheer audacity of the leftist dimwits railing against christianity without ever having read the books or history, yet pretending intellectual superiority, is what gets me worse.
Apparently the Vatican just recently ordered all entities that are part of the RCC to move assets to the main Vatican bank.
