Leftists really love picking on the wholesome targets especially in the vtuber scene since a lot of them use their avatars as a way to easily get past the shy block that means they usually stay introverted.
Unfortunately for them, not only are their colleagues sticking up for them, but a lot of the more 'aggressive' sides of the Internet are fans of people like Pikamee as a kind of 'calmer'. You've upset her and made her be offline because of a game, oh boy....
They go after the soft targets.
They know that, for instance, if they tried this shit with Calliope Mori, she'd laugh in their faces and tell them to eat a bag of dicks.
Considering her record I think she'd more likely sing a song shitting on them in increasingly obvious ways, she's released three such songs already and the latest one explicitly names the 'woke' in its lyrics.
While standing up to the troon hate brigade doesn't guarantee getting them to fuck off - Silvervale publicly defied them and they got so assmad about it that they tried faking a suicide to blame on her over the weekend - it does help more often than not, as does Cover Corp (Hololive's owner and thus by extension Calli's employer) declaring they'll send lawyers after anyone who harasses their employees. Unfortunately Pikamee was too nice and non-confrontational for her own good, something these sadistic bullies took full advantage of. But at least she'll be avenged soon enough if the frothing mob they've enraged with their actions across multiple social media platforms is any indicator.
I think that already happened a few weeks ago, and before then, and before then. We are talking about someone who's 'fleshtuber' persona has hung out with Kson and Sydsnap in real life so she's seen stuff more scary than a bunch of crybullies online.
