What is so hard about having Christians actually follow Christian doctrine? If you want to do the LGBTQ+ thing, fine. Just remove the label "Christian" off of it.
Sure. Acceptance means you accept the sin as normal or as not even a sin in the first place. Tolerance means you still call it a sin but you don't actually beat up/harass people engaging in said sin.
I work with homosexuals and I know of some in my neighborhood. The fact that I don't scream at them in person and/or physically attack them is tolerance. In fact, I can't explain to them what sin is without this type of approach. However, I don't accept said sin as acceptable. If/when the subject comes up I will say what is Biblically correct. That's the difference.
Christianity was designed by the Romans from the outset to make people (Jews, originally) into obedient little citizens who do as Caesar tells them. This is why it's the most cucked religion on Earth.
Yes, their psyop was more successful than they had anticipated. Still a great outcome for them - they just switched from one form of performative piety to another, in exchange for obedient citizens.

I would argue that acceptance is the sin not tolerance.
Okay, please explain to me the difference.

Well that's obviously not true at all and grossly historically inaccurate, but thanks for the comment.
And yet it wasn't long before emperors had to bow before the power of the religion.
