It seems the NY school system is ready to risk losing a few cis students to make trans students more comfortable. They're only cis, after all - not like they're actually human...
Every teacher that teaches children anything outside of the subject matter at hand should be fired and barred from ever teaching again.
I am aware that this hurts some fantastic teachers that can actually give important life lessons but these are so few and far between nowadays that it'd still be a enormous net gain for children.
Bar people from becoming teachers as a career out of highschool / college instead. Only people over 50, who have done something productive with their lives and had real jobs, can retire to be teachers.
We're probably at the point that if I offered a chatai teaching program to parents instead of schools, I'd probably make a fortune since that would be more trusted than current Western education
