Absolute madness. This guy was raped and now he's going to be sentenced for manslaughter... even though that also requires intent to kill.

And what if he did? A rape victim has every right to defend himself against his attacker.

I guess it differs by jurisdiction, where I live, manslaughter is intentional killing in the moment.
