the real reason he was fired is that he got mad at one of the board members and tried to fire him over a policy dispute.
it obviously became personal for the board member, who assembled an anti-Okeefe coalition of board grass fuckers and they all got together and knifed him.
then of course the obvious truth gets out and everyone takes OKeefe's side just like you'd expect because nobody gives the slightest shit that some board member had his feelings hurt in an internal power struggle, so they make up some laughable bullshit to try to win people over to their side.
