So I've embraced my inner weeb by getting mangas and having a massive list of manga to buy as well as anime to watch, and listening to Razorfist has made me really want to check out French comics. Has anyone read any they could recommend? I plan to start with Valerian because I hear the movie didn't do it justice at all and the artwork looks amazing. Plus, there seem to be a lot of sci-fi themed comics so that is right up my alley. Thanks in advance.

You can't have a French comic collection without Asterix. C'est impossible!
Thanks!
Someone get Unhygienix! We need to throw his smelly fish at Smith!
But, yes, Asterix and Obelix and Dogmatix need support.
Really?! I didn’t know that. Is it called Valerian? Also are Laureline and Valerian connected?
Oh. Ok. I looked it up and see what you mean

You might remember the game, which came out in the early 2000s with a really interesting art style
Thanks! I vaguely remember but I’d love to read it
I've heard W.I.T.C.H. was based on a French comic. Not sure what I could say about it's quality.
I can read French ok, but I never thought to read a comic.
I know Spanish so I can make out some French (can only say enough in French to explain I can’t speak it) so for now I’ll get translation but I would like to learn
Buck Danny.
