The Berserk anime is overrated low-budget trash, though. Why are we kidding ourselves? Perhaps the manga was good, but the anime?
And who is the first from the left, top row? And the second from the right, top row? Is that Macross?
And where is Trigun? Or Akira. Or Ghost In The Shell. Or Battle Angel Alita. Or Ninja Scroll? Or Dominion Tank Police? Or one of the most famous mecha franchises out there: Gundam? Patlabor? Guyver? Nausicaa? Mononoke? Lupin?
Original anime where they still tried to use adults as leading characters, instead of adolescents.

Yep Macross. I would never call Macross normie tier, maybe Gundam but not Macross.
Old normies would know that as Robotech. Aired on normie stations AND the Scifi channel back in the late 80s, early 90s
The US version of Macross took 3 different Macross stories and wove them together into a seamless Robotech saga.
