Pretty much. Big bank ate the small bank that held the note, and kept telling the customer that they weren't authorized to make payments on the account (because allegedly they didn't get the paperwork from the small bank right). The bank kept dragging it out with "sending a paperwork packet" for them to do and kept rejecting their payment attempts. Then on day 90 the foreclosure notice showed up instantly and the bank wouldn't budge on going through with it and all but dared them to sue. Funny how that works. Then the moratorium hit, they took time to move and let the bank have the place, but by the time the bank actually got it IIRC it was willed with trash and the copper had been stripped out of the walls by hobos.
