I literally overheard this yesterday in the time clock room ... Female: "Do you want to Date me?". Male (Alarmed) - "YOU'RE 10 YEARS OLDER THAN ME , NO!"
This happens A LOT at the office. Particularly post-wall women in their 40s. Too old to have kids, but too young to have any assets or debt paid off. Not a good time to look for a sugar daddy.

It's sad that this actually gets a visceral reaction. I'm so extremely, extremely grateful I'm not currently in an environment where I have to worry about this shit. But you can tell things are broken where even the idea of it is terrifying.
I would have been at the HR office and put in a complaint. I don't fuck around with that shit. I had no interpersonal clauses in some of my contracts and it was great a excuse.
Yep. Its pre-emptive strike. You go on record before them. Use the tools the system have. Again HR exists to protect the company regardless of who it is.

What shocked me was the speed of his reply - absolutely no second thought, just shutting that shit down

Sadly, as I understand, you almost have to. If she beats you to the punch you're in deep shit.
