Propaganda
Now antarctic studies are evil because men…
It's propaganda for eggs. We live in a silly reality.
Mommy Brain is now problematic. I've watched several marriages crash because of mental illness that happens from pregnancy. One pregnancy was saved because they found out she was a bitch by pregnancy. There is no way this isn't a thing.
Science
Gravity fields found in space have been replicated on earth for further study. It was a very small amount, but enough to toot a horn or two.
Children with edited genes exist? There is a bit of cover up on the matter, so it's unknown if it really happened. It even has an unpublished paper saying they did it.
Disney is screwed
CNN gives a fairly accurate portrayal of how screwed Disney is at the moment. I know, CNN.
Game Design
AI and internet usage have been changing the way games are designed. I don't think we will have the set up that has been traditional since the PS2 in the next few years. Here are some examples on why I think that way.
NeRF studio in Unity. This is a big thing for game design and could change how assets are made.
Realtime 3D editing can be done from a web browser and the company is getting well funded.
Cars
I had this car and loved it. I'm shocked by how often I love Celicas. I'm not seeking them out, I just enjoy them and find out it's a Celica. My dream garage would have 4 from different eras.
I actually used to read Ars Technica and then it was one “Trump is evil” article after another and I got attacked in the comments for simply asking if this was a tech site or not
Sounds like my experience with Slashdot. Used to be an interesting tech focused site many years ago. Then the editors caught a major case of TDS. They started spamming anti-Trump articles and there was obvious vote manipulation going on in the comments.
All too common now. I can remember on different sites saying “fine you hate trump but that has nothing to do with the purpose of this site”. I’d say it was the worst during Floyd riots. So many of the subreddits I was on had to give statements on racism and when someone asked what that had to do with baseball cards they got upset.
You a youngling. I’ve been on slashdot since Bill Clinton was in office and it was the same with Bush Derangement Syndrome. Bush was Hitler trying to form an American Empire with his Iraq war and the US Government was EVIL and not to be trusted. Then Obama got into office and all was rainbows and fairy dust and the US Government was a benevolent entity that only served to help us.
Yknow … like now…
Yeah, I know. I want news about tech, nothing else. I want to know how AI is being used with NeRF, and can find nothing. I can find the opinions of the writers on the latest dust up with China though.
Exactly. Similar to how I used to wonder why polygon and other sites never discussed games or the game they briefly mentioned was a launching point for some other issue
It makes me wonder where their funding is coming from and why. It's not about games obviously.
I hear that too. Even if I agree with them it can be annoying because if I’m listening to a podcast about collecting baseball cards I don’t need a political diatribe
That's what I find when doing a search.
Ars Technica was fucked even before then. Do you not remember those cunts attacking GamerGate?
Oh yea. Not sure why I blanked on that.
It's been a long time my man. I don't blame you.
