If so what did you think? I help with the youth at church and suggested it to one of the high school kids because he mentioned an interest in the multiverse idea and I suggested he watch Sliders. I didn’t see it til I got Hulu in 2010 but I remember when it originally aired. I hate that it ends on a cliffhanger and they couldn’t even do a book to close out the series. Lead guy leaving hurt the series as well. Cro-Mags was an interesting concept but maybe they ran with it too long. Overall I like the show and the original cast was best

I get that but it’s a good way to learn history. I watch stuff from the 60s where they make topical humor and I know what they are referring to. Granted sometimes I have to look it up but still it’s doable. Sliders is cool because of how at the beginning of each episode they see how the earth they are on diverges from the one they know. At least I always liked that
Yeah I watch stuff made before I was born too, but it's very hit or miss.
I guess that was my polite way of saying "you're now the guy in his 40s trying to make a good-faith effort to connect with high-schoolers. You probably remember what it was like from the other side: the probability of acting cringe and out of touch is high despite your best intentions. Tread carefully."
Oh I get what you mean. Well this kid is very nerdy and isn’t like your average teen so I figured he could appreciate it since I was a nerdy teen but I had to remind myself when I started volunteering that I am not cool and to not try to be the guy in his 40s trying to show younger generations how cool he is.
