Afterlife was feminism for prepubescent girls. Just look at the behavior of the older brother to see just how far removed this movie is from genuine entertainment, in opposed to the contrived propaganda that it was.
Would an older brother really let his clumsy kid sister face off with a supernatural evil ghost-god without so much as a peep? Perhaps if it was his older sister and he hated her guts, rofl.
Good point. I guess I was easily swayed by the original ghostbusters and the fact that the director didn’t hate the fans. My standards have dropped big time for modern entertainment. Like I said before an 80s or 90s b movie is superb cinema for me by comparison
Same here but it is true. A movie simply not being woke or not crapping on fans will make me over hype it. A lot of “great movies” for me in modern times would’ve been average 80s movies it seems.
