Right as in ability to do something not right as in what is morally right or wrong. Do you believe all human rights are morally right? Do you believe all laws are right? So just because the UN gets together and says X is a "human right" that means unobjectively it is morally right because your morals are dictated by the UN? Something can be a "right" and still be morally wrong just as how you can have the right to do something justified by the power to do it but such action is not morally right even if I can't stop you from doing said action. Morals are irrelevant to whether something can or cannot do something if they don't adhere to such morals. For the vast majority of people with power, you'll find no set of principals actually guide their actions other than what will enhances their own wealth and power though they will argue the moral justification of whatever action they take to those who would judge their action as morally wrong.
Let me make it clear for you.
Do I believe pedophilia is morally right? No.
Do I believe beating an unruly wife is morally right? It can be depending on what exactly she has done to deserve it.
Do I believe transexuals should have a right to not be discriminated against? No.
Do I believe women deserve "equal rights" to men? No.
Do I believe homosexuals deserve "equal rights" to heterosexuals? No.
Do I believe it is morally right to discriminate based on race? Yes.
They have the power. Therefore, in your eyes, right.
It's not hard.
Ahh, you're stuck on semantics. Got it.
It's right there, plain English.
What semantics?
