What's the problem with this? Adult toys are fucking boring as shit. I'm supposed to waste money on shit like a new fucking putter or a beaded seat cover for the car and not some plastic space ship that looks fucking cool on my shelf because it was intended for a kid? People are allowed to have hobbies again, we have the time and if we have the money, we can just enjoy our lives before going back to work. You don't lose your imagination the moment you graduate and the internet and video games aren't tangible shit.
I gave away all my childhood Legos when I was a teenager, but this Christmas I got a knockoff Merkava brick model from Cobi. I don't think they sell them in the US though, IIRC it's a company based in Poland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5rP5h12yfs
Wait until they hear about how war games began...
That's because all the "adult" adventures have been restricted. Slaves aren't allowed to play.

There's nothing wrong with having a hobby.
Just don't let it consume (no pun intended) your entire identity, and then do nothing with it.
People who do that DO deserve the mockery.
Turning a passion into a career in the field, like becoming a toy designer, that would be fine. But doing nothing with it? No.
But I would imagine they are collectibles. I still collect comic books. I enjoy them but I understand the investment aspect. Same with my sports cards
