If you really wanna go that route, then you need to abandon Ethno-Nationalism, which (again) is fundamentally Progressive. You need to embrace explicit Monarchism and abandon Nationalism because of it's Liberal dissent.
Nationalism was popularized by both Liberalism and Leftism during the 19th century. Liberal Nationalist movements tended to be successful at getting political concessions from monarchs, and introduced Republican governments. Socialists used Nationalism as an anti-Colonial & anti-Monarchical movement to literally balkanize Empires.
I'd actually say that continued existence of western civilization is going to need nationalism as at least a small bulwark against Globalism. Primordialism just doesn't make sense anywhere in the West (or really most of Europe). Besides, that emerged from the Enlightenment as well, so it too would be "Left" or "Liberal" to you.
I would because they did. When a king gives up some amount of power to the legislature as the result of a Liberal reform movement, that's a political concession to the Liberals.
