I still can't believe they're having it in fucking Qatar lol
Okay, I can believe it because corruption but still it's insane.
If I remember right they wanted to host it in a place with extreme temperatures, a radical culture, and a government built on fucking over english-speakers. Unfortunately, Quebec refused to host it, so they settled on their second option.

Unironically, you could probably argue Mexico and Lula's Brazil fit that bill, too...
