Imagine that you are a young black kid struggling in high school. No matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to grasp high school level math or English. The problem is almost certainly your IQ. It was largely fixed at birth, and your shitty home life didn’t help. Now you’re faced with challenges you can’t overcome, and it’s frustrating and embarrassing. In fact, you’d rather be seen not even trying because that’s more dignified than being forced to continually smash your head against a brick wall.

Any discussion of your cognitive limitations is forbidden, so there can be no dignified analysis and no working solution. Instead of the system acknowledging your abilities and steering you towards an alternative career track - where you can still make good money and build a good life for yourself - your struggles are blamed entirely on a series of convenient scapegoats. White peoples. Capitalism. Western civilization. You know, all the things that your Marxist teachers want to destroy. Surprising, that.

But none of that blame actually helps you. Your struggles are not abated. Your energy is being redirected towards political and cultural targets by your activist teachers. You are being trained as a foot soldier in a culture war when what you really need is someone to guide you into the dignified and prosperous vocations for which you are suited.

In the real world, the vast majority of people won’t become “whatever they want to be”. That doesn’t mean your life has to suck, but it does mean coming to terms with your real potential. It’s a bummer to learn that you’re not going to be a rockstar, but that doesn’t mean you should permit radical leftist zealots to channel your frustration into their revolution.
