This literally gay congressman won in a Biden +11 district.
You expect him to be MAGA?
I get being angry at him for being a terrible RINO but this guy is literally in a seat we just cannot win with an actual good candidate.
The utility we get from this guy winning is that he is somewhat helpful in depriving Pelosi of the Speaker's gavel.
We should be more focused at replacing scum like Romney or Murkowski who are in ruby red states but somehow just as bad as this guy in terms of policy.
Duopoly at its finest, when the choice is between a flaming socialist who wants to burn your city to the ground and a flaming bureaucrat who wants to take a paycheck what do you choose?
No one expects him to be MAGA, but it's not unreasonable to expect him to be different than a garden variety Democrat. But since we have faggots in deep red districts who can't manage that it's probably hopeless.
This man's only role is to be a backbench seat warmer who nets Republicans +1 in the count for this one cycle.
If he actually does anything I would be surprised.
He will most likely lose next election cycle since it will be a presidential year and there are way less ticket splitters then. He also won't have Zeldin to carry his ass.
I don't expect anything maga. I do expect a New York republican along the lines of Pataki from the state. This guy came from the finance industry, that's all we need to know he's a democrat operative. Call it the uniparty if you want, but they were caught multiple times saying they want to and are going to run their people in the republican primaries.

We tried to replace Murkowski, McConnell fought harder to keep her than he did for Blake Masters.
Fuck Alaska's ranked choice voting for dooming our attempts to replace her.
No amount of McConnell money would be enough to save her if only there was no rank choice voting in that state.
I'm not sure if it was ranked choice votings fault, or if it was their confusing as hell implementation of it

This district chose the RINO over the socialist.
We can atleast use this guy as a +1 for taking back the House.
Yeah that is all he gives us but I am fine with that at this point.
These midterms were such a complete disaster that we need every single house seat we can get to eke out a narrow majority.
Agreed

You're from the land of denial if you think this man would do anything to prevent her from being elected again.
