As the title says.
Like, nothing against the guy, necessarily, but it is pretty clear that he cannot even speak with full mental function, let alone making important decisions and the like...
It just seems like a really bad idea to elect someone who is clearly... Not well. Let alone the likelihood that being in that position will make his health outcomes worse...
I understand that D's felt like he was their best chance, and that they needed to win that seat, but it just seems irresponsible all round, for all parties involved, no?
How are voters so dumb that they saw all that, and went "Yup, that's the guy I want representing me, right now!"
Sad...
What's the motivation to vote for Oz? If this was 2016, he'd be the most far left candidate on the ballot in the entire country.
It's 2022 now. Conservatives need to progress and get with the times dude. If this was 1790, every person running on the ballot in the entire country would be executed for being too far left. Times change. Conservatism is just leftism going the speed limit.
Are you fucking listening to yourself
While the wording is suspect, there is a bit of truth to the idea that the right needs to work on messaging. Our whole schtick this election cycle was "hey, we're not Democrats!" but we presented very little actual plans. We cried about fixing the economy but never told anyone how we planned on doing that.
Actually "we" did. By not spending money we don't have. That's how you fix inflation. Now go back to reddit.
This is a common problem with GOP. Part of the reason Trump was so popular was because he had a plan. For most of my adult life the GOP's entire platform has been:
Paltry tax reforms
OwniNg LiBTaRdS
Foreign wars and an expanding security state
Cockholster for Israel.
These are cute policy points (the left has really taken the reigns with the foreign intervention and militarized, partisan police force), but there is no overarching theme to them, at least not something comparable to the left's ever quickening march toward a sexually degenerate, neo-bolshevik dystopia.
