Do they think there is an audience for this? Yes I know people will point out Christmas M&Ms but that makes sense. I have trouble believing they are responding to a legitimate demand
Well, Kwanzaa exists purely for blacks to spite whites as a whole, and since their entire culture revolves around hating whites...I think there's a sizeable audience here.
Yes, the investment bank that gave them $50 million dollars from you and everyone-you-know's pension fund to shit like this. $49 million dollars went into boat payments, the remainder went into this.
While I have admittedly limited experience, I have never known even of anyone who talked about celebrating Kwanzaa IRL. Like, we learned about it in school for I guess diversity's sake, but I didn't hear one black kid in my school say that they celebrated it. There was no, like, one volunteer to talk about it. I know that the black kids celebrated Christmas and got Christmas presents -- people would talk about that. I know/knew people that celebrated Hannukah and Diwali and Eid.

Now here's a batch of candy that absolutely needs to be subjected to the Brown M&M Test.
Isn't Kwanzaa that made-up holiday from Seinfeld?
I bet that $2.00 plain white jar will cost $50.00 now that it is labeled "Kwanza"
