You gotta give it to the soviets and he rest of the european leftists, managing to convince so many people that right-wing socialism is a thing, is something I'd never think possible. Well they actually convinced everyone that nationalism is a right-wing doctrine and not just a "flavor" you can add to any doctrine... national communism, national socialism, national liberalism, national conservatism. Also, anarchism is somehow a leftist ideology... even though everything on the left depends on centralized power. That should be the actual extreme right-wing position.
Although Left-Wing and Right-Wing politics are much older concepts (since at least the French revolution), it didn't become well known in the West until Fabian Socialists and other victors of WW2 (the European leftists) subverted the education system and began crafting modern political science theory. In other words the idea was specifically promoted to define Nazism/Nationalism as The Bad and everything opposed to Nazism/Nationalism as The Good. It's how everyone was taught. When some people realize how ridiculous that is and try to divorce the concept back to logical first principles, we start to run into conflicts and argue semantics because the paradigm simply doesn't apply to most people in modern times. There are things you can assign to "Left" or "Right" in some contexts so it's not entirely useless - but it's pretty much just a tribal signifier.
Left-Anarchism is just literal Communism. (the fantasy version)
Communism killed more people then the nazis, I wish people would have the same disdain to communism they have against nazis.
Also, nazis were left-wing.
