I'm still not convinced, here's a short list of low hanging fruit hypothetical situations:
Would you live a loving one suffer a great amount of anguish, pain, etc... be it a slow agonizing death in an hospital, at the hands of a bunch of sadistic cultists, letting someone be consumed by fire or something nasty like that or would you do the Humane thing and put them out of their misery?
Do you have kids?
